Hey, I'm Dina

I'm a marine ecologist and science communicator from the UK.

I'm currently a third-year PhD student at the University of Liverpool. My project explores if marine environmental DNA (eDNA for short) is an effective tool for detecting changes in intertidal biodiversity under climate change (funded by the ACCE DTP). The project is in collaboration with the University of Sheffield and the Marine Biological Association.

I enjoy sharing my research and academic journey - the good, the bad, and the ugly! Being a first-generation student, I'm here to make science more accessible for everyone.

Please reach out if you'd like to work with me at no.ordinary.biologist@gmail.com.
